Thomas Kröger (architect)

Thomas Kröger is a German architect and university professor.

Life

Kröger studied with Alfred Grazioli and Adolf Krischanitz at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin. He received the Taut Prize for his diploma thesis .

After working for Norman Foster in London and Max Dudler in Berlin, he founded his own office in Berlin-Schöneberg in 2001 . The projects include private houses, museum and school buildings as well as office and apartment buildings. He is a member of the Association of German Architects (BDA). From 2011 to 2013 he taught as a visiting professor at the Department of Architecture at Northeastern University in Boston as part of the Berlin study program. He then held a visiting professorship at the Stuttgart University of Technology . Since 2019 he has been Professor of Architecture at the Düsseldorf Art Academy .

Kröger became known for his multiple award-winning new buildings and conversions in the Uckermark .
