Three Snakes and One Charm By Your Side
(1998)

Three Snakes and One Charm is the fourth music album by the American rock band Black Crowes . The recordings took place in autumn 1995 and it was released in summer 1996. It adds a psychedelic dimension to the band's well-known sound spectrum of soul , rock , funk and rock'n'roll . Unlike on its predecessor amorica. the background singers again have an important part in the sound of the album and set gospel-like accents (e.g. Girl From A Pawnshop ). The record cover shows three snakes in the form of a 45 RPM adapter , which is needed for vinyl singles with a large center hole in order to be able to play them on a regular turntable. A limited edition of the album includes a corresponding adapter and a band poster as a bonus.
