Til Schindler (born May 28, 1993 in Munich ) is a German actor .

Life

education

Schindler graduated from high school in 2011. In 2015 he began studying acting at the Berlin University of the Arts .

Schindler played from 2009 to 2011 in the youth club of the Residenztheater in Munich under the direction of Cindy Jänicke. In 2011 he received a guest engagement there for the play Dreck , directed by Manuela Kücükdag. Another guest engagement took him to the Deutsche Theater Berlin , where he played Your Very Own Double Crisis Club in 2017-2018 , directed by András Dömötör. He also played at the Hans Otto Theater Potsdam , at the P14 youth theater of the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz , at the bat studio theater and in a theater production in Uganda .

Movie and TV

As a teenager, Schindler gained his first experience of turning. He played his first television role in 2010 in the ARD feature film The Entrance Examination in the lead role of the rebellious teenager Toni Meissner . In 2012 he played the main role of the bullying victim Jakob in the RBB movie Jetzt Jetzt Jetzt (Director: Christin Freitag). This was followed by roles in series such as Schuld nach Ferdinand von Schirach , Morden im Norden and Notruf Hafenkante . In 2015 he played the three-time murderer Bernd in the main role of the episode in Gottlos , directed by Thomas Stiller .

In 2016 he played an episode role as the German soldier Werner Lenard in the US series Genius: Einstein (director: James Hawes) and alongside his twin brother Frederik Schindler as Tim and Tom in the feature film Queen of Niendorf by Joya Thome. That year he also played one of the leading roles as the left-wing radical activist Volker in Bruce LaBruce's feature film The Misandrists , which premiered in the Panorama section at the 67th Berlin International Film Festival in 2017 and opened in cinemas in the USA in 2018.

In 2018 he played the German soldier Felix Becker in the British-French short film Attrition for France 3 and, in German sign language, the main role of the deaf Felix Anzer in the ZDF series SOKO Munich . He also played the US GI Michael Jenkins in the ZDF series The Specialists .
