Tim Roman Wieling (born September 25, 1996 in Bielefeld ) is a German handball player .

career

Wieling started playing handball at the age of four. In 2012, he moved from TuS 97 Bielefeld-Jöllenbeck to GWD Minden in the B-Jugend and later played there first in the A-Jugend-Bundesliga and for the second team in the 3rd division , where he played 185 in the 2015/16 season Goals landed in sixth place on the top scorer list. He made his first appearance in the first team on December 5, 2015 against EHV Aue in the second division . From the 2016/17 season , Wieling was a permanent member of the Bundesliga team. He made his Bundesliga debut on September 12, 2016 in the home game against Frisch Auf Göppingen . For the 2017/18 season he moved to TSV Bayer Dormagen in the third division. In summer 2019 he joined the Bundesliga club TVB 1898 Stuttgart .

Wieling studies sports management and communication in Cologne . His father Matthias trains the national league team HT SF Senne.
