Dominik Weiß (born January 25, 1989 in Göppingen , Germany ) is a German handball and beach handball player . His height is 2.09 m.

Indoor handball

In the summer of 2009, Weiß moved from the regional division SG Schorndorf to TV Bittenfeld in the 2nd handball Bundesliga south . In addition, he received a second game right at the regional division TSV Deizisau. In 2011, Weiss qualified with the TVB for the newly founded single-track 2nd handball Bundesliga . At the end of the 2014/15 season he was promoted to the Bundesliga with the club . Since the 2015/16 season , Weiß has been playing in the Bundesliga with the club, which is now running under the name TVB 1898 Stuttgart .

With the Stuttgart competition community, Weiß played under Rolf Brack as a coach for the German University Championship .

In November 2016, White was appointed to the national team for the first time . White made his international debut on November 2, 2016 in Wetzlar against Portugal .

White plays in the position on the left backcourt .

Beach handball

In beach handball , White is active for SG Schurwald . In 2017 he became German champion with SG Schurwald in Berlin .

At the 2017 European Championships in Zagreb , White and the German national team took 9th place.

In parallel to his work as a handball player, Weiß is studying.

Dominik Weiß is the son of Willi Weiß , a former national handball player who played for TSV Milbertshofen until 1976 and for Frisch Auf Göppingen from 1976 to 1987 .
