Robert Markotić (born March 7, 1990 in Đakovo , Croatia ) is a Croatian handball player . His body length is 1.93 m.
Markotić played for the Croatian club RK Našice from 2008 to 2013 . With Našice he played in the EHF Cup . From 2013 to 2014 Markotić was active in Belarus for Brest GK Meschkow , where he again played in the EHF Cup. From 2014 to 2015 Markotić played for the French club Pays d'Aix UC . From 2015 to 2016 he worked for ØIF Arendal in Norway . With Arendal Markotić played again in the EHF Cup. From 2016 to 2017 he played for the Israeli club Maccabi Rishon Le Zion , with whom he again competed in the EHF Cup. From 2017 Markotić was active in Slovenia for RK Velenje . With Velenje he played in the EHF Champions League , where he scored 15 goals. In February 2018 Markotić moved to the German first division club TVB 1898 Stuttgart . On February 11, 2018, he played his first Bundesliga game in the away game at TuS N-Lübbecke . For the 2020/21 season he will move to SG Ratingen 2011 .
In 2009 Markotić became U-19 World Champion with Croatia .
Markotić holds the position of a right back player .
