Luis Plymford Foege (born December 2, 2001 in Haiti ) is a German handball player . He occupies the position of a right winger , but can also be used on the right backcourt .

Career

Foege started playing handball at HSG Ostfildern. In the B-Jugend he switched to TVB 1898 Stuttgart for the 2017/18 season . He plays with the A-Jugend of the TVB in the youth Bundesliga and made his first division debut in the first team against TSV Hannover-Burgdorf on February 7, 2019 .

With the handball team born between 2000 and 2003 from the Riegelhofschule Realschule Nellingen, Foege was Baden-Württemberg Master of Schools in 2015.

In 2019 he was appointed to the German U-19 national team for the first time.

Personal

Foege came to Germany from Haiti as an adopted child at the age of nine months and grew up in Ostfildern . His mother is German, his father is Argentinian. He is completing an apprenticeship at the vocational college of the Johann-Friedrich-von-Cotta-Schule in Stuttgart.
