Career

society

Patrick Zieker started playing handball at HG Steinheim-Kleinbottwar. In 2008 he moved to SG BBM Bietigheim , for which he played in the 2nd handball league from 2011 . From the 2012/13 season, the 1.86-meter-tall left winger was under contract with Bundesliga club TBV Lemgo . For the 2019/20 season, Zieker switched to Bundesliga club TVB 1898 Stuttgart .

National team

Zieker was part of the German junior national team, for which he scored 120 goals in 40 international matches and with which he won the 2011 junior world championship.

After Zieker was appointed to the 17-man squad for the 2020 European handball championship by national coach Christian Prokop , he made his debut in the national team on January 4, 2020 in a friendly against Iceland .
