Sascha Pfattheicher (born August 28, 1997 in Karlsruhe ) is a German handball player . His height is 1.83 m.

Career

Pfattheicher began playing handball at the age of four at SV Blankenloch. In the E and D youth he played for the Stutensee youth syndicate and was appointed to the BHV selection teams . In the C and B youth , Pfattheicher played at SG Pforzheim / Eutingen . From the local U17 he moved to the 1st team of the third division club SG Leutershausen in the summer of 2014 . With Leutershausen Pfattheicher rose to the 2nd Bundesliga in the 2015/16 season . In the 2016/17 season , in which Pfattheicher scored 80 goals in 26 games, Leutershausen failed to stay up and was relegated back to the third division. From the 2017/18 season , Pfattheicher was given a second game right at the first division club TVB 1898 Stuttgart . He played his first game in the Bundesliga with the TVB on August 24, 2017 against MT Melsungen . In March 2018, the association announced that the first access rights for Pfattheicher would be transferred to the TVB from the 2018/19 season .

Pfattheicher was appointed to the youth national teams from 2012. He has been a member of the DHB's elite squad since January 2016 . In 2016, Pfattheicher was nominated for the B national team.

Pfattheicher plays in the position of a right winger .

Private

Pfattheicher was a student at the Thomas-Mann-Gymnasium in Stutensee and the Otto-Hahn-Gymnasium in Karlsruhe.

Pfattheicher made a contribution to the book 300 x Karlsruhe - Faces of a City , published in 2015 .

Pfattheicher's father was active as a handball player for TSV 1896 Rintheim in the 2nd Bundesliga.
