history

The first written mention of Tisová was in 1233 in a deed of donation from Wenceslas I to the Teplá monastery over several villages . Tissau belonged to the monastery until the first half of the 16th century. In 1530, the Counts Pflugk von Rabenstein Tissau, together with the neighboring Landek, acquired as pledge and attached the villages to their rule of Bečov . In 1544 Heinrich IV. Von Plauen became the owner of the place. In contrast to Landeck, the monastery Tissau did not redeem and the village was connected to Gut Wilkischau, which belonged to the Theusing rule . Tissau was later assigned to Gut Luditz .

At the end of the 16th century, the Račínov acquired from Račín Tissau and attached it to the rule of Pürles. In 1626 Julius Heinrich von Sachsen-Lauenburg bought the village, which again came under the rule of Theusing. Further owners were the Margraves of Baden-Baden, the Prince of Schwarzenberg and, from 1837, Alfred von Beaufort-Spontini. This assigned Tissau and Pürles to the rule Bečov, where it remained until the abolition of patrimonial rule . In 1847 the village consisted of 22 houses and had 117 inhabitants. Below Tissau on the Tepla was the hammer mill, formerly also known as the pipe mill.

In 1850 the political municipality of Tissau / Tysov was established in the Karlsbad district . 1905 Tissau was the district Tepl assigned. In 1930 Tissau had 182 inhabitants. After the Munich Agreement , the community was added to the German Reich in 1938; until 1945 the village belonged to the district of Teplá . In 1939 Tissau had 156 inhabitants. After the end of the war, Tisová returned to Czechoslovakia and was classified in the Okres Toužim in 1949. 1961 was incorporated into Otročín , at the same time the village became part of the Karlovy Vary Okres. In 1991 the place had 7 residents. In 2001 the village consisted of 9 houses in which 9 people lived.
