Tiszacsege is a city in Hajdú-Bihar County in Hungary . It is located on the southeast bank of the Tisza ( Hungarian Tisza ) in the northeast of the Hortobágy National Park . The place is connected to the Ohat-Pusztakócs-Nyíregyháza railway line .

history
Originally the place was called Csege. Because of its geographically favorable location, the place had a Tisza crossing in the early Middle Ages. In the 15th century, Csege received market rights .
