Another building was erected in 1785, the present Shepherd Museum (Pásztormúzeum) . Between 1827 and 1833 the nine-arched bridge, which was Central Europe's longest public stone bridge, was built according to the plans of Ferenc Povolni . The railway line was opened on August 5, 1891. Thereby the interest in the area could be promoted, especially through the shepherds' meeting every summer and the bridge market (hídi vásár) .
