Titular Archdiocese of Sardis

Sardis ( Italian : Sardi ) is a titular archbishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .

It goes back to an ancient bishopric in the city of Sardis , which was located in the landscape of Asia Minor and the late ancient Roman province of Lydia .
