Tolga Bozacı (born January 24, 1998 ) is a Turkish ice hockey goalkeeper who has been under contract with Zeytinburnu Belediye SK in the Turkish Super League since 2015 .

Career

Club

Tolga Bozacı began his career as a hockey player with Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kağıt SK , for whom he first played in the Turkish U18 league and in 2014/15 in the super league. In 2015 he joined league competitor Zeytinburnu Belediye SK , for whom he has played since then. With Zeytinburnu he became Turkish champion in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 . In 2019 he was also voted the best Turkish goalkeeper.

National team

Bozacı participated for Turkey in the junior division in the U18 World Championships in 2015 when he was not used, and in 2016 when he had the best catch rate and the lowest goals against goals of the tournament, as well as the U20 World Championships in 2016 when he was the best player of his Team was chosen, and in 2017 , when he contributed significantly to the rise of the team from the Bosporus with the second best goal against goal after the Icelandic Arnar Hjaltested and the third best catch quota after Hjaltested and the Israeli Raz Werner , he participated in Division III. In December 2019, Bozacı took part with the Turkish team in the Olympic qualification for the 2022 Winter Games , but lost with his team in the second round of the pre-qualification after two clear defeats against Serbia (3: 8) and Croatia (2:10) and one final 4-1 win against Bulgaria .
