The Tollerort (ENI no. 04805060) is a passenger ferry the HADAG AG . It can carry up to 250 passengers and runs on a regular service in the Port of Hamburg .

The ferry is the ninth type 2000 ship, a HADAG in-house development for one-man operation, which is popularly known as the "iron". It was built by the Hamburg shipyard Spezialschiffbau-Oortkaten in the district of Ochsenwerder and named Tollerort on July 19, 2006 by Inga Unger-Freytag, wife of Finance Senator Michael Freytag . The Tollerort is an area in the port of Hamburg today on which a container terminal of HHLA is.

Until September 2009 the ship was advertised for Jägermeister . Later it was promoting Stage Entertainment , until May 2013 for Walt Disney - Musical Tarzan , from July 2013 for the musical Phantom of the Opera , which as of December 2013, the Neue Flora was played in Hamburg.

Technical specifications

The Tollerort has a length of 29.95 meters, a width of 8.15 meters and a draft of 1.7 meters a total of 250 passengers on two decks space. 60 seats are available on the upper open deck, 124 seats are available on the lower deck.

The ship is driven by a skipper in one-man operation . The possible sailing area extends on inland waterways to the sea .

The Tollerort is equipped with two Volvo Penta D12-B MH diesel engines, each with an output of 331 kilowatts. The motors drive two Rolls-Royce - Contaz thrusters with counter-rotating propellers to (diameter 1.1 meter). The Tollerort thus achieves a top speed of 12 knots with high maneuverability  . In the bow area there is a Jastram transverse thruster with an output of 50 kilowatts, there are also two auxiliary units from Volvo Penta with an output of 77 kilowatts each.

An ELNA 4007 river radar is used as the radar system . Navigating is with an ELNA radar pilot, which combines the radar image and the turning indicator with an electronic Elbe map and DGPS- supported, indicates the position of the ship to the nearest meter.

On baking and starboard up and abfahrbare folding ramps for entry and exit are present, along with each stairs to the open deck. In the rear area there are disabled-friendly toilets and parking spaces for bicycles. Two life rafts with slides of the DSB  Minislide type are attached to the open deck.

The ship has an electronic counting system that counts the number of passengers boarding to ensure that no more than the permitted 250 people are carried.

Liner service

The Tollerort is used without a fixed schedule on various port ferry lines within the HVV :

She can also be found in the Airbus factory traffic to Teufelsbrück (line 68) and in the charter traffic for Stage Entertainment (the Lion King Shuttle). The low headroom of the Argentina Bridge prevents it from being used on Line 73 Landungsbrücken - Argentina Bridge - Oderhöft / - Ernst-August-Schleuse. On the Hamburg-Blankenese-Este-Linie, a staircase into the water, which serves as a pier in Cranz, prevents the use of hydraulic access ramps (and thus the use of the type ships 2000).
