Tomislav Čunko (born February 13, 1986 in Zagreb , SR Croatia ) is a Croatian ice and inline hockey player who has been under contract with the KHL Mladost Zagreb in the Croatian ice hockey league since 2004 .

Career

Clubs

Tomislav Čunko began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown, where he was active for the KHL Zagreb until 2004 . From 2004 to 2009 the attacker played for the KHL Mladost Zagreb in parallel in the Croatian ice hockey league and the Slovenian ice hockey league and in 2008 he became Croatian champion with Mladost. In the 2009/10 season he ran for Mladost in the newly founded Slohokej League , in which he was on the ice in the two following years for the Zagreb team , the joint Slohokej League participant of the Zagreb top clubs, while he was parallel with Mladost participated in the game operation of the Croatian championship. After the dissolution of the Slohokej League in 2012, he played again exclusively for Mladost Zagreb. He was the top scorer and most valuable player in the Croatian league in the 2012/13 season and again the most valuable player in the league one season later .

International

For Croatia , Čunko took part in the division II tournaments of the U18 Junior World Championships in 2002 , 2003 and 2004 , the Division II tournaments of the U20 Junior World Championships in 2004 , 2005 and 2006 and the Division I tournament of the 2003 U20 Junior B World Championship .

In the senior division, Čunko was in his country's squad at the World Cup tournaments in Division I in 2008 and 2010 and in Division II in 2011 and 2013 . He was also on the ice in qualifying for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi for Croatia.

Inline hockey

Čunko took part with the Croatian national team in the Inline Hockey World Championship 2012 in Ingolstadt and finished fourth with his team in the second-rate division I.
