Toni Russ Prize
The Toni Russ Prize is awarded by the publisher and editors of Vorarlberger Nachrichten .
The Toni Russ Prize with the Toni Russ Ring is awarded to personalities from Vorarlberg who, through private initiatives, have provided valuable services to the country and its people. The award is named after the former publisher and editor-in-chief Toni Russ (1914–1969).

- 1973 - Rosl Bitschnau , pioneer in alcohol advice
- 1974 - Leopold Bischof , Vorarlberg model of preventive medicine
- 1975 - Eduard Riedmann , environmentally friendly motorway routing in the Bregenz area
- 1976 - Rainer Reich and Rudolf Mandl († 2010) for their commitment that Vorarlberger Illwerke AG remains owned by the state of Vorarlberg
- 1977 - Ferdinanda Mathis , († 2016) for up-to-date training and care for the deaf
- 1978 - Anton Allgeuer , for services in nature conservation on Lake Constance
- 1979 - Emil Bonetti († 2007), chaplain
- 1980 - Hermann Gmeiner († 1986), founder of SOS Children's Villages
- 1981 - Frieda Weber , for setting up the family helper school
- 1982 - Josef Zurkirchen († 1993), local history researcher
- 1983 - Herbert Batliner , for his commitment as a patron
- 1984 - Erich Kräutler († 1985), as a campaigner for the people in the Amazon region
- 1985 - Benedikt Bilgeri († 1993), teacher and historian
- 1986 - Anton Türtscher , who resigned as member of the National Council to ban the direct sale of milk
- 1987 - Franz Ortner , editor-in-chief of Vorarlberger Nachrichten
- 1988 - Johann Schuler, for his commitment to home nursing and care for the elderly
- 1989 - Irmgard Hagspiel , for her contribution to the protection of unborn life
- 1990 - Günter Rhomberg , for the Bregenz Festival

- 1992 - Erwin Kräutler , Indian and missionary bishop in Altamira (Brazil)

- 1995 - Josef Nägele, for his commitment to Lebenshilfe Vorarlberg
