Tonita Castro

Tonita Castro (born around 1953 in Guadalajara ; † May 8, 2016 ) was an American news anchor and actress of Mexican origin.

Life

Tonita Castro moved from Mexico to the USA in the late 1970s after the death of her father and took various jobs there to support her family. She got a job as a news anchor for Radio Express in Los Angeles and co- hosted a Spanish-language program that she held for twenty years.

She only began her acting career in 2005 and has made guest appearances on Little Britain , Dexter , Glee and Two and a Half Men, among others. She also had recurring roles on the series Dads and alongside Matthew Perry in Go On .

She died on May 8, 2016 of complications from her cancer. She was married.
