Dead or Alive is the second solo album by the German-speaking rapper Kool Savas . It was released on November 2, 2007 on the Subword label , a sub-label of the Sony BMG group. Dead or Alive is the 12th release from Savas' albums, mix and demo tape series and entered the German album charts at number 10.
Versions
Dead or Alive appeared in a total of three versions. In addition to the standard version, an enhanced edition was released, which includes an additional DVD, film recordings, a making-of and 2 bonus tracks. The third edition was named after the online hiphop magazine MZEE.com . This was only available from the aforementioned site, contained several bonus tracks and was completely sold out before the release date.

The music guests on Dead or Alive include the Frankfurt rapper Azad , with whom Kool Savas has already recorded a full album, Moe Mitchell from Optik Records and Senna Guemmour, known as the singer of the Monrose group . There is a bonus track with the Minden rapper Curse exclusively on the MZEE limited version .

Videos
The first video to be produced on Dead or Alive is the online single The Proof . There are two versions of this clip. The Chernobyl version was filmed in a massive concrete building in the uninhabited city of Prypiat in the Ukraine , near which the Chernobyl nuclear disaster occurred on April 26, 1986 .
The second video / single bears the name of the album Tot or Lebig and was released on December 7th, 2007 as a basic and premium version (chart placement: 67) and contains 3 extra songs (Alle schieben Optik (SP Soul Remix), The Proof and crash). In the video version, the third part has been left out and replaced by Mona Lisa .
The third video for the single Melodie was released on March 20, 2008 and was shot in Berlin. In the video, the mentalist Farid and Monrose singer Senna play for the first time .
