Until the end of 2014, Treglwang was a municipality with 366 inhabitants (as of October 31, 2013) in the judicial district or district of Liezen in Styria . Since 2015 it has been merged with the market community of Gaishorn am See as part of the Styrian community structural reform , the new community continues the name "Gaishorn am See".
geography
Treglwang is located in the Paltental in the Liezen district in the Austrian state of Styria and is the "gateway to the Paltental".

history
The first documentary mention of Furth as Vurt took place in 1171, of Treglwang as Traglbanch in 1265. The abolition of the manorial lords took place in 1848. The local community as an autonomous body was established in 1850. After the annexation of Austria in 1938, the community came to the Reichsgau Steiermark, 1945 to In 1955 it was part of the British zone of occupation in Austria.

- After the 2010 elections, the municipal council was composed as follows: 5 ÖVP , 3 SPÖ , 1 Greens .
- The referendum on the merger of the municipality of Treglwang with the municipality of Gaishorn resulted in 72% of the votes against with over 50% participation.

Treglwang is on the Pyhrnautobahn and the Schoberpassstraße . The Selzthal – St. Michael leads through the place without any existing hold.
