Trempealeau is located in western Wisconsin on the east side of the border with Minnesota forming Mississippi . The place is about 3 km below the mouth of the Trempealeau River and about 10 km above the mouth of the Black River in the Mississippi. Perrot State Park lies between the northwest parish boundary and the mouth of the Trempealeau River .
