Triin Peips (born September 26, 1982 in Valga ) is a former Estonian biathlete and cross-country skier .

Triin Peips initially competed in several international races as a cross-country skier in 2001 and 2002, but without getting beyond lower-class racing series such as the Continental and Cross-Country Marathon Cup and FIS races. That's why she switched to biathlon. The Otepää teacher had been a member of the national team there since 2004. She was trained by Ants Orasson and we started cross-country skiing for the Oti-Audentes sports club . She competed in her first international races at the 2004 European Championships in Minsk , where she was 38th in the sprint and 36th in the pursuit. Since the start of the 2004/2005 season , she started in the European Cup . In the first race, an individual in Geilo , the Estonian came in 52nd place. In 2005 she just missed the points in three consecutive races as 32nd in Obertilliach and Windischgarsten . Peips finally achieved this for the first time as the 26th of a sprint in Altenberg . Her best result in the racing series she achieved in 2007 as 21st a sprint in Nové Město na Moravě . She also made her debut in the World Cup at the beginning of the 2004/05 season . In Beitostølen she was 103rd in a sprint. In the further course of the season she came in Oberhof as 81st a sprint for the first time to a double-digit placement. That season she achieved her best career result as 74th of a sprint in Pokljuka . The next international championships were the 2006 European championships in Langdorf , where Peips was 42nd in the individual and did not finish in the sprint race. The 2007 World Championships in Antholz were the end and highlight of the career . Peips finished 80th in the individual and 78th in the sprint, in the relay race she came in 13th place at the side of Sirli Hanni , Eveli Saue and Tagne Tah as the final runner.
