Trine Hansen
Trine Hansen (born February 19, 1973 in Ringsted ) is a former Danish rower .
Hansen started her career at Sorø Roklub , Sorø's rowing club ; In 1997 she moved to Roforeningen Kvik . Hansen won from 1992 to 1999 eight Danish champion in one . At the 1992 Olympic Games , she competed with the Danish double scull and finished eighth. At the rowing world championships in 1993 she reached third place behind the German Jana Thieme and the Canadian Marnie McBean . In 1994 in Indianapolis, Hansen won the world title ahead of Kathrin Boron and Belgian Annelies Bredael . In 1996 in Atlanta during her second Olympic participation, Hansen received the bronze medal behind the Belarusian Ekaterina Karsten and the Canadian Silken Laumann . At the 1997 World Championships, Karsten won ahead of Hansen.
