Tristan Angenendt

Tristan Angenendt (born January 9, 1985 in Wesel ) is a German classical guitarist , musician and university professor.

Life

Tristan Angenendt received his first guitar lessons from Günter M. Schillings in Wesel. At the age of 14 he was accepted as a young student in Hubert Käppel's class at the Cologne University of Music . From 2005 to 2007 he was a student of Aniello Desiderio at the Koblenz International Guitar Academy . He also attended master classes with guitarists Manuel Barrueco , Eliot Fisk , Konrad Ragossnig , Angel Romero , Pepe Romero and David Russell .

He gave his first solo recital at the age of 13 years in Lemgo , a year before he made his debut as a soloist with orchestra . Since then, concert tours have taken him through Europe and South America .

Tristan Angenendt is a prize winner at guitar competitions, as well as sponsorship award winner from the cities of Frechen , Koblenz and Wesel. In 2001 he was also honored by the Lions Club Lüdenscheid-Medardus as "the best young guitarist in Europe" with the sponsorship award for young artists . His solo debut CD Between the Centuries with works from the 20th and 21st centuries appeared in 2012 at KSG Exaudio and contains the first recordings of Georg Schmitz load Encores (Last additions) and Günter M. Schilling il Piccolo (Tango for Tristan) from Due Vecchi Pezzi , dedicated to Tristan Angenendt.

Angenendt lives in Wesel and teaches at the Rostock University of Music and Theater and at the Langenfeld City Music School . He is artistic director of the concert series "Gitarrissimo Klassik" and the international guitar festival in Oberhausen .
