Tscherwen ( Belarusian Чэрвень), also Tscherwien , is a small town in Minskaya Woblasz in Belarus . It was founded in 1387 and today has around 10,100 inhabitants.
The city was still called Ігумен ( Igumen ) until 1923 , where it was then renamed Cherven, where Чэрвень means June in Belarusian. The city has a local museum and the Bagaroditskaya Church of the Nativity.
