Tuşba is a former district in the eastern Anatolian city ​​of Van with the rank of a municipality ( Belediye ). Tuşba was founded in 2012 by dividing the urban area of ​​Van and comprises the northern part of the city, which consists of 67 districts ( Mahalle ). The name is derived from the Urartian name Tušpa .
