#Twice is the first Japanese album by the South Korean girl group Twice . The compilation album was released on June 28, 2017 and contains the group's first five singles in Japanese and Korean versions respectively.

background

After the Japanese website and some social media channels were launched in early February 2017, the group officially announced on February 24th that they would make their debut in Japan on June 26th 2017 with the album #Twice . To this end, large billboards were installed in subway stations and in busy public places. The mini-album What's Twice? published to promote the group.

On May 31st, the album's track listing was posted on the official website. The album should contain the Korean and Japanese versions of Twice's first five singles.

At the beginning of June, Warner Music Japan published the first teaser videos on Youtube as well as the digital version of the single Signal (Japanese Ver.).

On June 28, #Twice was officially released in Japan along with the single TT (Japanese Ver.) . TT was only published as a download version.

Chart successes

#Twice entered the Oricon Album Charts at number 2 and sold more than 100,000 copies in the first four days. In the Oricon album annual charts 2017, the album reached number 15. Outside of Japan, #Twice also made it onto the charts in Taiwan and New Zealand.
