Twicecoaster: Lane 2 (stylized spelling TWICEcoaster: LANE 2 ) is a mini-album by the South Korean girl group Twice . It's a re-release of their third album, Twicecoaster: Lane 1 . The album was released on February 20, 2017 along with the new single Knock Knock .

On January 18, 2017 it was announced that Twice were in the process of producing a new album. The release is planned for the end of February 2017 and it will be a new edition of their third mini-album Twicecoaster: Lane 1. The first teaser photos for the new release were published from February 2nd. Further details about the album were announced on the following days. So the date of publication was set for February 20th. The published track list showed that Twicecoaster: Lane 2 will be able to find all the tracks from the previous one, plus the new single Knock Knock and a new song called Ice Cream . The CD version of the new album also contains instrumental versions of the singles Like Ooh-Ahh , Cheer Up , TT and a remix version of TT .

On February 20, Twicecoaster: Lane 2 was released along with the single Knock Knock .

The album was produced by JYP Entertainment founder Park Jin-young . The single Knock Knock was written by Sim Eun-jee, Min Lee and Mayu Wakisaka.

Chart successes

Twicecoaster: Lane 2 entered the South Korean Gaon Album Charts at number 1, making it the group's second album in a row at the top in South Korea. Although the album was released relatively late in February, it sold 266,645 copies that month. In the Gaon Album annual charts 2017, Twicecoaster: Lane 2 reached number 15 with a total of 277,716 units sold.

Internationally, the album was also able to reach number 1 in Taiwan. Chart positions were also noted in Japan and the USA (Billboard World Albums).
