Two Harbors is a small town (with the status " City ") and the administrative seat of Lake County in the northeast of the US -amerikanischen state of Minnesota . In 2010 , Two Harbors had 3745 residents.

Two Harbors is northeast of Duluth on the shores of Lake Superior . According to the United States Census Bureau , the area of the city is 8.3 km². Gooseberry Falls State Park is around 20 kilometers north .
history
In 1902, the Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company was founded in Two Harbors . 3M later moved to Duluth and is now a global corporation based in St. Paul . In addition, the city has a port that was used intensively, especially in the 20th century.
