Tyler Lovering (born July 13, 1971 in Wilcox , Saskatchewan ) is a former Canadian - Australian ice hockey player who won the Goodall Cup , the Australian national championship, with the Sydney Bears in 2002 and 2007 .

Career

Tyler Lovering began his career with the Moose Jaw Warriors in the Western Hockey League . After playing for the Lowell River Hawks , the team at the University of Massachusetts Lowell , in Division 1 of the National Collegiate Athletic Association from 1989 , he returned to Moose Jaw and played for the Warriors for another year. He later moved to Australia, where he was on the ice for the Sydney Bears in the Australian Ice Hockey League in the 2000s . In 2002 and 2007 he was able to win the Goodall Cup , the Australian championship, with the bears .

International

For the Australian national team Lovering first played at the D World Championships in 1998 , 1999 and 2000 . After switching to the current division system, he was on the ice at the World Championships in Division II in 2001 , 2002 , 2003 , 2004 , 2006 and 2008 when the "Aussies" achieved their first promotion to Division I by winning their home tournament in Newcastle . Then he ended his career.
