Tyson Mulock (born January 20, 1983 in North Delta , British Columbia ) is a German - Canadian ice hockey player who last played for the Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg in the German Ice Hockey League .
Career
Tyson Mulock was born in Canada's North Delta in the province of British Columbia. At the age of eight, he started ice hockey despite his father's opposition, who wanted Mulock to play football. In 2001 he moved within the league to the Regina Pats . After two seasons with the Pats, he moved to the British Columbia Hockey League to the Nanaimo Clippers. There the Canadian scored 30 goals and 50 assists in 59 games . After this season he came to Germany for SC Mittelrhein-Neuwied in the Oberliga Nord Ost . For the 2005/06 season he moved to SC Riessersee and was top scorer in the league with 72 points in 35 games. After a year at SC Riessersee, he was drawn to Moskitos Essen in the 2nd Bundesliga , where he was top scorer and player of the year in the 2nd Bundesliga with 101 points (50 goals and 51 assists) in 52 games.
Since the 2007/08 season , Tyson Mulock has been hunting for goals for the Eisbären Berlin in the DEL , and won the DEB Cup and the German championship there in his first season with the team . In the following season, Tyson Mulock was able to repeat the championship success with the Eisbären Berlin. His younger brother Travis James has also been under contract with the capital city since the 2009/10 season . Together they were able to celebrate 3 more German championships (2011, 2012 and 2013) with the Eisbären Berlin.
In the 2013-14 season , Tyson Mulock played for the Iserlohn Roosters. He then signed with the Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg . In January 2016, Mulock extended his contract in Wolfsburg early to 2018.
Personal
His brother Travis James Mulock is also a professional ice hockey player. Her maternal grandfather emigrated from Germany to Canada after World War II.
