U 348 was a German submarine from the Type VII C , the March 30, 1945 when an air attack on the Hamburg shipyard Blohm & Voss by the groups 1 and 6 of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) and the Group 8 of the Royal Air Force (RAF) Bomber Command was destroyed and sunk. Three people died in the attack, the number of survivors is unknown. The boat was lifted and scrapped after the war.
