Uladzimir Uladsimirawitsch Weramejenka ( Belarusian Уладзімір Уладзіміравіч Верамеенка , Russian Владимир Владимирович Веремеенко Vladimir Vladimirovich Weremejenko * 21st July 1984 in Homel , BSSR , Soviet Union ), mostly Vladimir Vereemenko , is a Belarusian basketball player .

Career

Weramejenka began his professional career with Avtodor Saratov . Then in 2004 he went to Saint Petersburg to Dynamo, which had taken over the first division license from Awtodor in 2004. With BK Dynamo Saint Petersburg he played the following two seasons in the FIBA EuroChallenge , which they won in 2005.

After the breakup of Dynamo, he moved to BK Chimki in 2006 . This season he was nominated for the FIBA ​​All-Star Game, in which he did not take part due to an injury. With Khimki he won the Russian Cup in 2008 and was once third and once second in the Russian championship .

After two years with Khimki, he moved to UNICS Kazan in August 2008 , for which he first played one season in the Basketball Superleague and from 2009 in the VTB United League . This named him MVP of the month March 2012 and the best Belarusian player in 2012/13 and 2013/14. With UNICS he won the Russian Cup twice (2009, 2014) and the EuroCup 2011. In the following season, Weramejenka played in the EuroLeague for the first time . UNICS reached the quarter-finals.

In August 2014 Weramejenka signed with the Spanish first division club Basket Saragossa 2002 , but moved to Banvit BK in the top Turkish league TBL a month later , in order to enter into a significantly better paid contract. During his time at Banvit, Weramejenka replaced Andre Riddick as the most successful rebounder of the EuroCup with 476 rebounds in eight seasons.

For the 2015/2016 season, Weramejenka signed with the Italian first division club Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia . By participating in the EuroCup, Weramejenka was able to further increase the record he set in the previous season and has since led the most successful rebounder statistics with 609 rebounds.

In August 2016, Weramejenka moved to the German first division club and EuroLeague participant Brose Bamberg , where he received a one-year contract. From then on he played for the reigning German champions in the BBL and in the EuroLeague. With the Franks Weramejenka managed to win the German Cup and the German Championship .

After the season Weramejenka moved to the Russian basketball team BK Nizhny Novgorod .
