Ulrich "Uli" Maurer (born January 19, 1985 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen ) is a German ice hockey player . He has been playing for his hometown club SC Riessersee again since 2018 .

Athletic career

The 1.77 m tall left-handed shooter comes from the offspring of SC Riessersee , where he was listed in the DNL team under Uli Maurer from 2000/01 to 2002/03 . In the 2002/03 season he was used for the first time in the Bundesliga squad from Riessersee. When the Riesserseer team was excluded from playing during the 2003/04 season , he moved to EC Peiting in the league . During the season he already got a production license from the Nürnberg Ice Tigers , but he has not yet been used with them. For the 2004/05 season he moved to the Nuremberg squad. In the 2006/07 season he was runner- up with the Ice Tigers . From the 2008/09 season he played for the Augsburger Panther , where he also completed three missions at EHC Munich as a result of a game time disciplinary penalty. With Augsburg he won the runner-up in the DEL in 2010 . After the end of the season he signed a contract with EHC Munich.

Between 2016 and 2018 he was under contract with the Schwenninger Wild Wings .

After joining the national team at the U18 World Cup in 2003, he played for the U20 national team in 2004 and 2005.
