Ursula Herwig

Ursula Herwig (born July 12, 1935 in Berlin , † December 5, 1977 in West Berlin ) was a German actress and voice actress .

Life

Herwig first appeared as an actress in 1957 with the comedy Der kühne Schwimmer . Later she played in the cabaret The Porcupines . On television she was among other things in space patrol and Count Yoster is honored to see.

Ursula Herwig was very busy as a voice actress, for example she lent her voice to Jane Fonda in Barbarella , Joyce Jameson in Ruhe Sanft GmbH , Billie Whitelaw in Frenzy , Cheryl Miller in Daktari , Rosemary Nicols in Department S and " Cleopatra " in Asterix and Cleopatra . In the 1960s and 1970s she was one of the busiest voice actors. She also worked as a dubbing writer and dialogue director, for example for the German version of American Graffiti (1973).

Ursula Herwig was married to her colleague Thomas Braut , with whom she had a daughter, but later separated from him. She was close friends with the Berlin comedy writer Curth Flatow . At the beginning of December 1977 Herwig was found in Berlin near the Tiergarten lock in the approximately 50 centimeter deep water of the Landwehr Canal - the circumstances of death could never be exactly clarified. She was buried on December 14th at the Dahlem forest cemetery.
