Víctor Cuesta , full name Víctor Leandro Cuesta , (born November 19, 1988 in La Plata ) is an Argentine football player . He will be used in the position of a central defender . His strong foot is the left one.

Víctor Cuesta started his career in the youth division of the Arsenal de Sarandí . Here he also made the leap to the professional squad in 2008. In the team's squad, he is said to have been in the squad for the first time in 2009 in the Clausura 2009, but did not make any appearances. At the beginning of 2010 Cuesta was loaned to the CSD Defensa y Justicia for six months . With Defensa Cuesta played his first game in the Primera B Nacional . Arsenal returned after the 2010/11 season ended . Here he played his first game in the Primera División (Argentina) in the 2011 season . In the away game against CA Independiente Cuesta was in the starting line-up. In the 2012 season, Cuesta had its first successes. First, he made his debut at international club level with Arsenal . Cuesta played his first Série A game on April 15, 2018 with the home game on the first day of the season against EC Bahia . The player scored his first goal in the league on June 10, 2018, the 11th matchday. In the away game against FC Santos he scored the 2-1 winner in the 53rd minute. National team

National coach Gerardo Martino initially only called Cuesta in the preliminary roster for the Copa América Centenario 2016 . After Javier Pinola and Leonel Vangioni had to cancel a participation due to injuries, Cuesta was also appointed to the final squad. Cuesta played his first international match in a friendly in preparation for the Copa America.
