Valdemir Ferreira dos Santos
Valdemir Ferreira dos Santos (born June 30, 1960 in Itajaí , Nova Canaã ) is a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Amargosa .
Life
Valdemir Ferreira dos Santos was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Vitória da Conquista on September 6, 1987 .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Floriano on March 17, 2010 . The Archbishop of Vitória da Conquista , Luís Gonzaga Silva Pepeu OFMCap , ordained him episcopal on May 30th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Geraldo Lyrio Rocha , Archbishop of Mariana , and Celso José Pinto da Silva , Old Archbishop of Teresina . As a motto he chose PASCE OVES MEAS .
Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Amargosa on May 4, 2016 .
