The river cruise ships of the Vasiliy Surikov class ( Russian Василий Суриков , German transcription: Wassili Surikow), which was also known as Project Q-040A , are river and canal inland passenger motor ships of large construction. The class is named after the first ship in the class, which bears the name of the Russian painter Vasily Surikov .
history
The river cruise line was established in 1975. The Österreichische Schiffswerften AG in Korneuburg ( Austria ) built ships of their own design, Project Q-040 , and Project Q-040A was a simpler variant of the previous project for shorter distances, without shower and toilet, only wash basin in each cabin and had different ones Arrangement of the cabins opposite the Maksim Gorkiy class . technology
In the 1990s, the ships were modernized and rebuilt for new conditions. Since the ships also had targets in the north-western lakes of Russia, these ships were also equipped with GPS and modern radar systems. The ships have a diesel drive with two main engines 6ChRN 36/45 G-60.
Furnishing
In the 1990s, a shower and toilet were installed in every cabin. All comfortable 1-, 2- and 3-bed cabins are equipped with air conditioning, refrigerator, shower and toilet and have a 220 V connection and large windows.
On board are u. a. a restaurant, two bars, a kiosk, a conference room, music and television salon, a telephone for international connections, solarium, sauna, swimming pool and fitness room.
