history

Philipp Joseph Graf Kinsky , who came from the Chlumec family branch of Count Kinsky von Wchinitz and Tettau and who inherited the Stubenbach rulership in 1780 after the death of his childless great-uncle Josef Johann Maximilian Count Kinsky, left the villages in the Waldhwozder forests east of the Adamsberg between 1792 and 1793 Create Chinitz ( Vchynice ) and Tettau ( Tetov ). Both places were laid out as Waldhufendörfer and are among the most recent rural settlements in the Kingdom of Bohemia . Wooden chalets were lined up along the path from Mader to Rehberg . In the course of the reclamation of stony forest soil , wide stone walls were built up at the borders of the Huben , which stretched from the foot of the Adamberg to the Vydratal, which have survived to this day. Because of the altitude of over 1000 m. ü. M., agriculture was only possible to a very limited extent, so that pasture farming dominated. Together with a short-lived glassworks, the settlement of Maderhäuser was built in 1792 on the left bank of the Großmüllerbach opposite Mader . In 1799 Philipp Joseph Graf Kinsky sold the Stubenbach estate to Joseph II von Schwarzenberg . In the same year he had his forest engineer Joseph Rosenauer project the Chinitz-Tettau alluvial canal for the economic exploitation of the wealth of wood of the rulership , the starting point of which was below the Ebenmühle on the Rechel Bridge between Chinitz and Preisleiten . In addition to the poorly tolerable agriculture, logging became the main source of income for the residents. The slopes of the Adamsberg were gradually settled, the settlements Adamsberg, Brenntenhäuser and the Hegerhaus Sägfeiler were built here. The woodcutter settlements of Schätzewald and Schätzereith were laid out along the alluvial canal in the Schätzewald.

In 1838 the villages Chinitz and Tettau, which together with Adamsberg and Brennten and two houses from Mader ( Modrava 1.díl ) made up the local community Chinitz and Tettau , consisted of a total of 39 houses with 282 inhabitants. A hiking school was maintained in Chinitz. The parish was Stubenbach. Until the middle of the 19th century, Chinitz and Tettau remained subordinate to Stubenbach.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Chinitz-Tettau / Vchynice-Tetov 1850 a district of the municipality Stadler and I. Stadlern share in the judicial district Bergreichenstein. From 1868 Chinitz-Tettau belonged to the Schüttenhofen district . In 1869 the district of Chinitz-Tettau with Adamsberg and Brennten consisted of 59 houses with 492 inhabitants. Of these, 289 people lived in the 33 houses in the core town of Chinitz-Tettau, 84 in Schätzewald, 72 in Schätzereith, 23 in the Mader houses and 24 on the Antiglhof. In 1908 a volunteer fire brigade was established in Chinitz-Tettau. In the 1910 census, 80 houses and 555 inhabitants were counted in Chinitz-Tettau, while 289 people lived in the 44 houses in the double village of Chinitz-Tettau. The others lived in Schätzewald (120), Schätzereith (84), Maderhäuser (42), Sägfeiler (12) and the Antiglhof (8). In 1921 the district of Chinitz-Tettau consisted of 82 houses, 45 of which were in the core town of Chinitz-Tettau. In 1934, the municipality of Stadler Share I. / Stodůleckých Podílů I received the new name Rehberg / Srní . After the Munich Agreement , Chinitz-Tettau was added to the German Empire. From 1939 to 1945 Chinitz-Tettau belonged to the Bavarian district of Bergreichenstein . After the Second World War , Vchynice-Tetov was largely resettled in the course of the expulsion of the Germans from Czechoslovakia . The repopulation with Czechs succeeded only to a small extent. In 1950, 69 people lived in 38 houses in the entire district of Vchynice-Tetov; most of the houses remained uninhabited and were later demolished. The locations Adamsberg and Schätzova Mýť were completely given up; only a few houses from Vchynice, Tetov and Brennten have survived. After the separation of the municipality of Modrava from Srní and independence, the district of Vchynice-Tetov was divided between the two municipalities on November 24, 1990. The municipality of Modrava received devolved southern share the name Vchynice-Tetov II , the remaining at Srní larger share name Vchynice-Tetov I . In 1991 Vchynice-Tetov I had eleven inhabitants. In 2001, the place consisted of eight houses in which ten people lived. In total, Vchynice-Tetov I consists of 30 houses. The core town today is Schätzův Les.
