Vedrana Vučićević (born March 14, 1984 in Sarajevo ) is a former Bosnian cross-country skier and biathlete .

Vedrana Vučićević lives in Pale and started for SK Romanija Pale . In 1998 she started biathlon and was trained by Tomislav Lopatić . The athlete, who suffers from congenital asthma , has been part of her country's national team since 2001 . As a junior she started at the Biathlon Junior World Championships in 2002 in Ridnaun and came in 31st in the individual, 35th in the sprint and 39th in the pursuit race. A year later she went to Kościelisko for the Junior World Championships, where she was 49th of the individual, just qualified as 59th of the sprint for the pursuit race, which she finished 52nd. Shortly afterwards she also took part in the junior races of the Biathlon European Championships in Forni Avoltri in 2002 and was 38th of the sprint, did not start in the pursuit and did not finish the individual. At the Biathlon Junior World Championships 2004 in Haute-Maurienne , the ranks 53 in the individual and 45 in the sprint were added, but she did not compete in the pursuit despite qualifying. The fourth and final Junior World Championships were the title fights for the Biathlon Junior World Championships in 2005 in Kontiolahti . Vučićević was 52nd of the individual and 48th in sprint and pursuit.

Vučićević made her international debut at the start of the 2001/02 World Cup season in Hochfilzen when she was 103rd in a sprint. The following season she came 82nd in a sprint in Osrblie for the first time on a single-digit place. In 2004 she also competed in her first races in the European Women's Cup and was 36th in her first sprint in Brusson and 34th in the pursuit race based on it. Later in the season, the Bosnian won points in the European Cup for the first time in Langdorf as the 26th of a sprint. The highlight of the season was the 2006 European Biathlon Championships in Langdorf, where the Bosnian was 69th in the sprint, but did not finish her individual. The 2007 European Biathlon Championships in Bansko became the last major international event in his career. Between 2004 and 2006 Vučićević also ran cross-country skiing on an international level. At first she only competed in lower class FIS races and races in the Alpine Cup .
