The Verbandsgemeinde Lambrecht (Pfalz) is an administrative unit in the legal form of a regional authority in the Bad Dürkheim district in Rhineland-Palatinate . The municipality of the association includes the city of Lambrecht (Palatinate) as well as six independent local communities , the administrative seat is in the eponymous city of Lambrecht (Palatinate).

history
The Verbandsgemeinde Lambrecht (Palatinate) was newly formed in 1972, like all the association communities in the then administrative district of Rheinhessen-Pfalz , on the basis of the “Thirteenth State Law on Administrative Simplification in the State of Rhineland-Palatinate”. Until then, the administrative structures from the Palatinate (1816–1946) existed.

mayor
The full-time mayor of the Lambrecht community has been Manfred Kirr (independent) since January 1, 2013. In the direct election on April 22, 2012, he was elected for eight years with a share of the vote of 62.12%. Kirr is the successor to Herbert Bertram (CDU), who did not run again after 25 years in office.
