The Bad Muskau administrative community , in Upper Sorbian Zarjadniski zwjazk Mužakow , is an administrative community in the Görlitz district in the Free State of Saxony .

The administrative community is located in the northeast of the district, about 8 km northeast of the city of Weißwasser . In the east the administrative community borders on Poland with the border river Neisse and in the north on the state of Brandenburg .

On April 5, 1996, the Bad Muskau administrative community was founded with the member communities Bad Muskau, Gablenz and Kromlau . Kromlau left the administrative community on January 1, 1999 when it was incorporated into Gablenz.

Member municipalities

The administrative community currently consists of two cities and municipalities. The executing municipality is the eponymous country town Bad Muskau .
