About this picture

The administrative community Neusalza-Spremberg is a Saxon administrative community in the district of Görlitz . It is located in the west of the district, about 11 km southwest of the city of Löbau and 26 km northwest of the city of Zittau . In the south it borders on the Czech Republic .

founding

In the interests of effective administrative work within the neighboring communities of Neusalza-Spremberg, an administrative community was founded on August 10, 1999 (initially) between the city of Neusalza-Spremberg and the communities of Schönbach and Dürrhennersdorf. Due to the incorporation of Friedersdorf as a district of the city of Neusalza-Spremberg on January 1, 2008, the former independent municipality now also belongs to the administrative community. The city administration of Neusalza-Spremberg has been processing all day-to-day business for the member municipalities "as a fulfilling municipality" since January 1st, 2002. The new town hall of Neusalza-Spremberg (since 1993) - previously a vocational school - is also the administrative center of the Neusalza-Spremberg administrative association formed in 1999. The building was created in 1888 by the master builder Johann Ernst Fabian from Ebersbach / Sa. based on plans by the Dresden architect and construction clerk Edmund Bräter (1855–1925) as the seat of a new Royal Saxon District Court . In addition to Spremberg and the small town of Neusalza, the surrounding villages of Oppach , Taubenheim , Cunewalde , Schönberg , Halbau , Köblitz , Schönbach, Dürrhennersdorf and Neuschönberg also belonged to its judicial district .

Official Journal

The city of Neusalza-Spremberg has published an official gazette for the citizens of the administrative community since 1996. The title of the monthly local press organ is: Official Journal of the Administrative Association for the City of Neusalza-Spremberg with the Friedersdorf district and the communities of Dürrhennersdorf and Schönbach . The announcements of the city of Neusalza-Spremberg , which appeared in loose succession from November 1990 to March 1996, are considered to be a historical forerunner . The publication of the qualitatively and quantitatively more appealing official gazette of the administrative community from May 1996 on the joint initiative of the then mayor of the city of Neusalza-Spremberg (Günter Paulik) and the communities Dürrhennersdorf (Albrecht Gubsch), Friedersdorf (Theodor Grundmann) and Schönbach (Uwe Petruttis) back. The official gazette is printed by the publishing house Linus Wittich KG Herzberg.
