The administrative community Dolmar-Salzbrücke is an administrative community in the Thuringian district of Schmalkalden-Meiningen , in which 14 communities are united to carry out their administrative business. On January 1, 2012, this emerged from the merger of the Dolmar administrative community and the Salzbrücke administrative community . The latter also belonged to the Bauerbach community , which was incorporated into the Grabfeld community .
The administrative community is based in Schwarza , with a branch in Ober Maßfeld-Grimmenthal .

history
The project was initially rejected by the interior committee of the state parliament. After a new consultation, the Thuringian state parliament approved on December 16, 2011 the formation of the new administrative community on January 1, 2012. Member community Wölfershausen was on 1 January 2019 as part of the administrative reform of Thuringia in 2018 and 2019, after grave field incorporated and thus left the administrative community.

At its meeting on June 1, 2015, the joint assembly of the VG Dolmar-Salzbrücke elected with a large majority (approx. 62%) the 55-year-old administrative specialist Frank Kampf from Dissen in North Hesse as the new VG head of the large administrative community with around 9,600 inhabitants for a term of 6 years.
