The Orbanism Award (under the name Virenschleuder-Preis up to and including 2016 ) is an annually awarded marketing prize. The award is given to the best marketing in the field of culture and media . In contrast to other marketing prizes, every nomination is published so that an exchange of experiences takes place. The award ceremony takes place every autumn as part of the Frankfurt Book Fair . The Virus Thrower Prize has been organized by Leander Wattig since 2011 in cooperation with the Frankfurt Book Fair and, according to the buchreport portal, is one of the most important prizes awarded there . The media response is broad.
