Salisnytschne

Salisnytschne ( Ukrainian Залізничне , Russian Зализничное Salisnitschnoje ) is an urban-type settlement in the north of the Ukrainian Vinnytsia Oblast with about 1000 inhabitants (2018).

Salisnytschne belongs administratively to the urban district of Kozyatyn and is located between the city and the urban-type settlement Hluchiwzi , 75 km north-northeast of Vinnytsia , on the Berdychiv- Kozyatyn railway line .

The village was founded in 1925 as a railway settlement and was named Kozyatyn-II until 1986 , after which it was given the status of an urban-type settlement and the name was changed to Salisnytschne .
