Ladyzhyn ( Ukrainian Ладижин ; Russian Ладыжин Lady Shin ) is a town in the Ukrainian oblast Winnyzja with approximately 23,000 inhabitants (2019).
The town of Lukaschiwka ( Лукашівка ) and the settlements Hubnyk ( Губник ) and Ruschyzke ( Ружицьке ) also belong to the city, first mentioned in writing in 1362 .
The Ladyschyn reservoir is located near the city . It was created through the construction of the Lyshyn hydroelectric power station , which dams the Southern Bug . The Lyshyn coal-fired power station is located on the bank of the reservoir .
