Virgílio Moretzsohn de Andrade (born March 9, 1941 in Barbacena ) is a former Brazilian diplomat .

Life

Virgílio Moretzsohn de Andrade is the son of Olkemey Moretzsohn de Andrade and Henrique Horta. On March 3, 1962, he completed the Curso Preparatório à Carreira Diplomática of the Rio Branco Institute and was promoted to third-class legation secretary on November 7, 1963. He completed his law studies at the Universidade Pontifica in Rio de Janeiro on December 1, 1964.

As charge d'affaires of the consulate Andrade was off to 1 January 1967 to Los Angeles, from 30 March in 1969 after Port-au-Prince and from 31 December 1972 after Quito staggered, where he was promoted to first class legation secretary and where he headed the Serviço de Moradias Funcionais from September 30, 1974 .

From November 13, 1991 Andrade took over the management of the Africa department.
