Volker Heinze (musician)
Volker Heinze (* 1962 ) is a German jazz bassist .
Heinze studied from 1985 to 1989 at the Cologne University of Music . He worked here with the Reiner Witzel Group , Charlie Mariano , Simon Nabatov , Lew Soloff , Kenny Wheeler , Wolfgang Engstfeld , Gabriel Pérez and Pablo Paredes and worked as a musician at the Kölner Schauspielhaus and the Deutsche Oper am Rhein .
He is a member of various bands: the Ansgar Striepens - Matthias Bergmann Quintet and the band of the singer Ariane Jacobi , the group Double You (with Wolfgang Fuhr , Werner Neumann and Roland Höppner ) and the quartet and quintet of François de Ribaupierre , the Gabriel Pérez Band and the Matthias Bröde Group , the Ralph Beerkircher Quartet and the Steve Klink Trio .
