Volleyball World League 1999

The 1999 season of the World Volleyball League was the tenth edition of the competition. It started on May 28th and ended on July 17th. Italy won the title for the seventh time.

mode

The preliminary round ("intercontinental round") was held in three groups of four teams each. The top two teams in each group should qualify for the final round. However, since the hosts Argentina only finished third in the group, the second in Group C did not advance.
